Brecht

The documentary about Brecht with elements of game reconstruction fits quite organically into the filmography of director Heinrich Brellor. At the center of his assets are iconic figures of German history: architect and minister of the Third Reich Albert Speer, industrialist and politician with a Nazi past Hans Martin Schleer, as well as a three-part television film about the whole Mann family. The synopsis promises that Brellor's film will follow Brecht from the beginning of the First World War to his death, will pay attention to his relationships with women (what kind of biopic can do without this), and the activities of the Berliner Ensemble theater, where Brecht embodied his radical theories.

Mid-nineties

Jonah Hill promised not to put too much emphasis on nostalgia for the nineties in his debut film, although it would seem that this cannot be avoided. The film is about 13-year-old Stevie (Sunny Suljik), who lives with his impulsive brother (Lucas Hedges). The latter constantly beats him, so Stevie runs away from home to meet new friends, skaters. The skate culture in Los Angeles becomes a central theme for Hill's film, as the director portrays a time when teenagers are forming their own personalities. The premiere of "The Mid-Nineties" took place at the Toronto Film Festival, and now Jonah is already working on the next project. Last year at the Berlinale there was Gus Van Sant's "Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far", a film starring John Hill as an actor. With proper imagination, it can be assumed that these two films share the same film world: we are talking about actor Sunny Suljika, who rides a skateboard in both films. And even though one movie takes place in Oregon and the other in Los Angeles, I still want to come up with different theories about the same movie space for two films.

The light of my life

The premiere of Casey Affleck's second directorial film based on his own script will take place outside the competition program. However, this does not mean that the actor and director will not fight for empathy for his film - the story of "The Light of my Life" is quite tragic. A father and son hide from various criminals in their tent and move from place to place so as not to lose their lives in a post-apocalyptic world. This plot is somewhat reminiscent of Cormac McCarthy's "The Road." I wonder how Affleck Jr. will cope with the post-apocalyptic mood and combine it with a drama about growing up. Casey himself played the main role, and Elisabeth Moss (TV series "The Handmaid's Tale", "Mad Men") found a place in the background. One thing is for sure: judging by the first shots, Casey did not grow a beard in vain - it suits him very well. Mostbet BD https://mostbet-bangladesh.biz – Online Casino, Sports Betting in Bangladesh.
